Basswood Block Bundles

Dried Basswood blocks, shipped from our Auckland warehouse to your door - ready for carving!

  • Easy to Work With: Soft and consistent, requiring less force.
  • Fine Grain: Allows for smooth, detailed, and clean cuts.
  • Predictable: Lacks hidden hard spots or difficult grain patterns.
  • Good for Finishing: Takes paint, stain, and wood-burning (pyrography) well.


The various bundles available are made from an assortment of two sizes of blocks:

  • Regular 25mm x 25mm x 100mm
  • Large 50mm x 50mm x 100mm

Spoon Blanks

Available in Walnut, Beech or Basswood.

Spoon blanks are approximately 160mm long and 20mm deep to allow for a variety of shapes.
